Preserve Manager (Fallbrook Land Conservancy)

The Fallbrook Land Conservancy (FLC), a private nonprofit organization, is seeking a full-time preserve manager for its properties. FLC owns and manages more than 2110 acres of permanently protected open space on 13 preserves in the Fallbrook area, and monitors about 960 acres of land protected by conservation easements. Much of this land has been protected through government grants or mitigation, and annual reports to the relevant agencies are required. The Preserve manager is responsible for developing a plan and scheduling the activities necessary to manage these properties, including biological inventories, trail planning and building, the hiring, training and oversight of the land management crew, keeping good records, and filing reports with governmental agencies as needed. The position involves interaction with donors, volunteers, staff, board members and the general public.

Fallbrook Land Conservancy has great visibility in the community and they are looking to grow to help meet the open space and recreational needs of people in North San Diego County and adjacent areas.

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. Email resume and references to LANDCONS@SBCGLOBAL.NET Resumes without references will not be considered.
