Annual Symposium (San Diego Weed Management Area)

The San Diego Weed Management Area will be hosting the 2019 annual symposium on June 6th.

This is a FREE seminar, open to the public with an emphasis on those who manage land. The symposium begins at 9:00 and ends at 3:00. Registration opens at 8:30. Topics focus on practical vegetation management solutions for land managers in the San Diego region and this year the focus is on online weed monitoring and mapping tools. This event coincides with the California Invasive Species Awareness Week.

This is the first time the event is at Sweetwater Summit Regional Park and attendees are encouraged to bring your own food or they can purchase an optional lunch, via the registration page, which will be delivered to the event. The cost for lunch is $12 (from Panera bread, sandwich, salad, chips drink). This year's venue is a 10-15 minute drive to several restaurants and in order to keep lunch on time you should bring food or order an optional lunch. If you want to purchase a lunch, you must purchase it when you register. Registrations with lunch orders will close June 3rd, registration (without lunch) will remain open until June 5th.

They are applying for at least 4 hours of CE credits to Ca DPR including 1 hour of laws and regulations.
