Responsibilities include:

• Performs and manages CEQA/NEPA projects

• Oversees the team and project ensuring work is completed on time and within budget

• Lead teams of professionals in required technical studies in support of the CEQA/NEPA documentation

• Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects

• Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to group manager

• Oversees the preparation of work plans, organizes project studies, and prepares reports for large, complex projects

• Develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.

• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed planning products.

• Monitors and ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws.

• Oversees specialized planning functions, such as large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies.

• Evaluates operations and activities of assigned responsibilities.

• Prepares reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications.
