The San Diego Weed Management Area is excited to announce the June 3rd, 2025 Summer Symposium is now open for registration.

This FREE workshop is a collaboration between the University of California, Cooperative Extension and the San Diego County Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures. Join from 9:00-3:30 to hear from presenters on weed management topics in wildlands and natural areas in San Diego County. There will also be an hour long session on laws and regulations.

The meeting is at the County Operations Center in Kearny Mesa (5500 Overland Ave. San Diego 92123 in the main conference room)

This will be an in-person event only, and will not have an online option.

There will be the option to purchase lunch from a local deli where it will be delivered, or alternatively please bring your own lunch, if needed. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of the conference room.

SDWMA will be applying for DPR credits and will update the total hours once they have been approved by DPR.
