RECON is currently looking to hire seasonal Environmental Resource Monitors to provide long-term construction monitoring for cultural and biological resources along the U.S./Mexico border. Environmental Resource Monitors are needed for immediate work in San Diego, California, El Paso, Texas, and Yuma, Arizona, with additional work expected along the border region.

The Environmental Resource Monitor will primarily conduct on-foot field surveys and complete appropriate field survey notes, along with other field duties, as required. The right candidate for this position must be able to work independently while performing construction monitoring.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in archaeology or biology with fieldwork experience. Construction monitoring is a plus. Qualified candidates must be available for travel, have a clean driving record, and be able to work up to 10+ hours per day.
