Article abstract: Protocol includes: sampling and laboratory methods; identifying capture and recapture events by identifying unique individual genotypes using GIMLET’s group by genotype algorithm; pedigree reconstruction using pedigree reconstruction software COLONY v.2.0.5.9; and use of population genetic analyses aimed at detecting population structure to provide an indirect method for inferring gene flow.
