Article abstract: This report provides a progress summary of the ongoing habitat restoration project for the San Diego cactus wren (Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus sandiegensis) within the central property of the Lakeside Linkage Preserve (Preserve) located in the City of Lakeside, San Diego County, California (Figures 1 and 2) and provides details on the fifth year of the five-year post-installation monitoring period (August 1, 2015 through July 31, 2016).
