Article abstract: Seeds of the following native species collected in Year 1 were dispersed and included San Diego thornmint (Acanthomintha ilicifolia), purple needlegrass (Stipa pulchra), small-flowered morning glory (Convolvulus simulans), purple clarkia (Clarkia purpurea), hairy sun cup, (Camissoniopsis hirtella), and blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium bellum) (Photos 1-4). In addition, San Diego thornmint seed, previously bulked by the Institute for Plant Conservation Research at the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance was dispersed as well. The thornmint and the other species of collected seed were dispersed into and around the fenced cages on October 31, 2024, November 10 and 14, 2024 and December 11, 2024, at all four restoration sites.
